Guest Design @ Anything Goes with a Fun Fold for Creative Creases #76: St. Valentine Card and Tags

Dear scrapper,

Yeah, I am back after a nice more than 6 months break of blogging, not crafting, just writing, 😂

I was invited to share my fun fold car with the Creative Creases blog: at the Anything Goes with a Fun Fold for Creative Creases #76 challenge.

I decided to use the nice gumball machine die from TE, and a nice fun fold card I had made before:

I also made tags/ book marks for my kiddos teachers using perfume boxes to make the tags. I love how some boxes are so nicely decorated, so I cut out and use the We R memory keeper's tag punch board:

Even the inside grunge board is nice:

I was able to cover the writing and logos with the gumball shaker diecuts:

Sadly, I run out of the nice cardboard, so I made some out of regular cardstock:

I stamped the backs with some HeroArts stamps and my kiddos names. The shaker rhinestones, and elements are from Queen & Co.

I hope you enjoyed this nice recycling project and follow my blog, and don't forget to participate in Anything Goes with a Fun Fold for Creative Creases #76 challenge.

Happy belated St. Valentine's day

Vicky Tovar

WW DT: Let it snow -Christmas Card

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my October post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

For this month's challenge, sadly, we don't have a sponsor.

I used an sketch from jingle belles rock: merry-sketch-mas and chose the I chose the Winter Chickadee digital image for my card from :

I found some inspiration in the challenges bellow for my choice of papers and used a negative ornament cut (Sizzix and Hero Arts) from a previous project.
I decided to make a shaker using page protector as transparency and foam tape:

I didn't have read pearls, so I decided to complete the look by coloring the ones I had with permanent marker.

I stamped the inside of a CTMH white card with a Christmas sentiment using Candy Apple distress ink. I cut a piece of embossed cardstock to fit the outside of the card (it had Santa's image, so I liked it for this look) and some peppermint stripped printed paper for the center strip.

I colored the Chickadee image and finished the shaker using some pearls and other Christmas fillers for the inside. I mounted all pieces together and used double side tape to add to the card.

I assembled the card using the sketch as a simple guide using double side tape, and added the colored pearls as final touch:

DT: Get Well Kit

Hi,

This is my next post for Craftwell
For this post, I played with the Get Well Kit from Queen and Co. and created a get well soon card and a clip for my door sign:

This is such a fun kit to use. I really like the other shaker kits as well.

Here is the front side of the card with the matching envelop, I created with a left over strip of paper:

For the inside of the card:

I used the included clear stamps for the sentiments and used CTMH black and cherry inks. I drew the outline of the bandage using the metal die as an stencil and glitter pen.

The card base and envelop come from this kit from CTMH:

Here is a closeup of the shaker die cut bandage:

For the door sign clip, I used the same Get Well Kit and just outlined the backing paper using the transparency insert included in the shaker kit. Later I glued the shaker bandage die cut to a Dollar Tree chalk board sign clip:

Here is the inside of the shaker bandage die cut, before adding the transparency and frame:

Here is the clip on my door sign:

I really like to use card kits because it saves a lot of time trying to put together everything you need. I hope you enjoy it and please visit Craftwell as well.

Happy September

For my project, I decided to dust out my Fuse tool:

I made a shaker card with the fuse tool card base and some print out from the NitWit collection
Tailwags

I used some Creative Memories punches to cut out some HEXagons from the cardbase and added
cutouts from dogies printed from the NitWit collection:

I punched some printed buttons and the sentiment for my card:

My fusing skills are still very rough, but I did it ;-), sequins shaker pocket and all.

For the inside I cut out another sentiment from this fun collection:

I hope you enjoy it and decide to participate in this fun challenge.

Best weekend for you all
