Happy New Year Eve!!!

It's Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion with a card to hold the handmade gift I made for my daughter.

BTW, We had an amazing sponsor this month for Connie's blog hop last week! Betsy Flot is giving one of  her awesome book's, Progressions of Expressions Volume 2.

I made this charm holder for my daughter's handmade gift inspired by the ones made by Jody from Cre8n' Memories
Connie, sorry, I saw this idea too late otherwise I would have sent you one ;-)

I made some changes to the original idea to adjust it to a regular size card and to hide the chain, I made a pocket. I remembered a chain holder I saw a while ago and made the straight cuts coming out of the punched holes to insert the chain without destroying the card, as you can appreciate bellow:

I used a 3D zot to hold the pendant:

Both pendants:
This one I sent to Connie:

I used some old CTMH papers (Believe) and the charm/glass topper are also from CTMH. You can get similar products in Connie's CTMH website.

Happy New Year Eve!!!

Eureka Stamps challenge #173 Snowmen or Snowflakes

Dear scrappers,
At Eureka Stamps Blog  we have a new challenge this week:

Snowmen or Snowflakes

Here is my take to this fun challenge using the 23402 Snowman Circle digital stamp:

I used the fuse tool my dear friend Gloria for my birthday. I also bought a Christmas card kit from fuse and used the special cardstock, the snowflakes, and the saying from the kit. I included a printed cardstock with the already colored snowman Eureka stamp  in my shaker bag and added some sequin snowflakes also from the kit.
For the back, I added one of the bigger snowflakes to give the card some fun for its inside as well:

The card kit, I used:

Eureka Stamps Challenge #172 Santa

Eureka Stamps Blog has a new challenge this week:

Santa

I used the following digital images for my project:
6702 Santa Head
& 30702 Ho Y'all
I made some tags for my son's class for their goody bags. I uploaded the Santa image to my Cricut design studio and used the print and cut function of my Cricut explorer. I also made a larger red mat to go with the tag. I left the tags on purpose without coloring so that the children could color them and use the tags as Christmas tree ornaments.

Here is a picture of al, the goody bags with the tags:

Well, here is my project:

I made this layout using Karen Fosters papers, stickers, and die cuts. This line was perfect for these holiday pictures, which I took in Galveston for Christmas eve (left side) and in Monterrey, Mexico for New Year eve (right side). I used an Sketch from Tami Sanders' PhotoFull class.

Left side inside the lap.

Right side inside the lap.

Some closeups of the embellishments, I used.

The letters are from the Echo Park alpha stickers.

The Papa Noel sticker is my favorite, as it reminds me of my childhood.

The same with the Nochebuena one...

The New Year eve pictures were also special because It was my last holiday spent in Mexico, I was pregnant with my now 8 year old, and it was the first Christmas as a married couple for my sister in law and her husband.

Some more close ups:

And I left tons of space for my journaling, which I will add soon in my "Que te regalaron para Navidad" space:

I hope you enjoyed my layout and leave me and my blog hoping friends some love.

 Up next is Charmagne

Here's our Jolly line up in case you get lost.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #170 Christmas Is Coming

Our Challenge theme this week is

Christmas is Coming

for more details please visit Eureka Stamps Blog here.

Here is my design for this week's challenge:
 16401 O Holy Night

For this card, I used a digital stamp, which I had modified in PowerPoint. I used the adding color feature and the oval cropping of the image from PoqerPoint. Then, I printed the image in my inkJet printer and trimmed it around. I framed the image using some silver glitter paper and some foil chips containing white paper from my stash.
I added some glitter using a glue pen to highlight the stars and to give it a more defined border.

To the inside of the cards, I added my altered sentiment using glitter again...

I hope you join us at our challenge.
I wish to enter the following challenges:

Now to my project:

I choose a title from Betsy's book: Progressions of Expressions Volume 2.

A closer look to the right side:

A closer look to the left side:

I started this layout as part of a PhotoFull class by Tami Sanders and finished with this month's challenge as inspiration:

This is a fun sketch from Tami, with so much room to photos and journaling. I love it.

Since my pictures we so dark, I decided to still display them, but in a fun creative way: a Christmas tree, which a decorated with tons of mints-epoxy stickers I had from a Paper Work monthly kit.

My partial collage, I made with stickers from a CTMH kit (long ago retired) and some candy cane stripped alpha stickers from Echo Park sticker page.
I added more epoxy candy canes...

This is my final double page using papers from a Christmas WOTG:

Well, I hope you enjoy this project and my fellow DT friends.
