Design Team: As sweet as Honey

Hello, this is my DT-project for Connie Can Crop,

Wow, I can't believe that it's been a week already since I posted this project at Connie's blog:

For this post, I decided to use a card base from this months sponsor: The Cutting Cafe,  Card Fold w/curved sides, some CTMH, Brushed printed cardstocks, and some dazzles from my stash. I paper-pieced cardstock bellow the dazzles to add som color:

Here a pick of the inside:

I decided to color the cardstocks bellow the dazzles instead of paper piecing them. I hope you enjoy this simple card and leave me some love ;-)

And don't forget to enter this month's challenge:

Eureka Stamps Challenge #190 Add Some Bling

Eureka Stamps Challenge #188 Sketch

Good Morning dear Scrappers,

Time for a new challenge at Eureka Stamps:

Their Challenge theme this week is

Sketch

For this challenge, I decided to continue in my religious trek and use the digital stamps:

and for the inside:

For this image, which I had printed on watercoloring paper on my laser printer,  I decided to use some Tim Holtz watercolering techniques, but using the Wink of Stella markers:red, gold and green. The blue is a TH distressing markers though. For the white part, I did used a wink of Stella clear glitter pen, however it did not photograph that well.

I used the negative cut from my previous project here to mount my fuzzy cut cross. I used the oval from the reverse of the honey comb paper from MME.
I used some popdots to mount the oval on my card based, which I had already covered with the 3 strips of Paper scource gold foil tape.

I used a tag die to cut my sentiment printed on colonial white paper (CTMH) and added some dazzles I had from my stash to cover the doodle flowers from this digital stamp (also from Eureka stamps).

For the inside sentiment, I used the same paper and dazzles to blend to the rest of the card.

I really love this Numbers' sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my CAS card and decide to join on this fun challenge for a chance to win these adorable images.

Have a wonderful and very blessed week,

Vicky

I made this Hap-bee birthday card using a card file from the cutting cafe. Super easy to assemble assemble and use some of my scraps of My Mind Eyes (hobeycomb embossed pattern) and Teresa Collins (bees and bees washi tape).

For the sentiment and bees, I used some of my stash's cartridges (Birthday Bash) and added some stickles to the front bee cheeks.

To add some fun movement, I used a Wink of Stella ball point pen.

The star comes from a Paper source ribbon, I just bought in Boston while visiting.

And as final touch I added some of the TC bees washi tape to the inside borders of the card.

I hope you enjoy this easy and fun card.

For this project, I decided to make a pop-up card using one of the cutting cafe files and another for the flowerpot and grass for the inside:

Some closer looks:

I used my cricut explorer to cut the card and to write the sentiment on the front, however I had a little misshapen (when not ;-)
My cricut marker was dried up from not using it ;-) and I had to use a micron marker to write on top of the soft writing. LOL, I ended using my handwriting, I never do LOL
I used the micron marker also for adding some fun movement to the bees, which came from an sticker pack, I think I bought at a Dollar Tree store LOL. Handy uh...

I used the blush paper pack from CTMH for the inside and some CTMH white and honey cardstock as well for the card bases. I used some CTMH foam popdots.

This was in general a fun project to do. I used as inspiration an sketch by  Share the Joy Challenge:

However, this challenge just passed, but ours will be up for a month ;-)

I hope you enjoy this project and leave me some love,
Have wonderful week,

Vicky Tovar
