Silent Auction Display/ Shadow Box

Dear Scrappers,

This time I decided to use a sketch challenge as inspiration for a display shadow box I needed to make for a silent auction item for my children's school KingsFair.
I use the sketch provided by Scrap Our Stash Challenge Blog

"""The challenge this month is to...
Create a layout inspired by Juliana's sketch
AND...you must use at least (3) different type of school supplies on your layout. """
- See more at: http://scrapourstash.blogspot.com/2015/09/sketch-challenge-30-with-guest-sketch.html#sthash.v91E2yIr.dpuf

This is the sketch and this is my shadow box:

This shadow box let me place 4 different layers of elements. I used acrylic plastic pieces to mount those elements: from the closest to the deepest: The journaling box, The DoSeum sticker, the DoSeum presentation card, and the background.

The office supplies I used were staples, clips, and primary ruled paper.

I used the CM binder papers border, CTMH Chalk it Up WOTG, and its complements.
The ruled paper is from a different CTMH paper line.
And finally I bought the shadow box at Michaels.

I hope you enjoyed,
Have a very blessed week

Music is Life Blog Hop

Welcome to the Music is Life Blog Hop

We sang our ABC's as children loud and off key!
We rocked out in our bedrooms with our friends to our favorite tunes.
We slow danced awkwardly to that memorable ballet with the boy we crushed on. We walked down the isle in to the wedding march as we married the man of our dreams. We sang a sweet lullaby to our babies as we rocked them to sleep. We sing our favorite songs as we drive the kids to school, annoying them the whole way! Yes, music is Life! It's everywhere in our lives!
Join us as we celebrate the wonderful Life of Music!!

You should have arrived from Haidee. In case you didn't and you need to start at the beginning,

I used the music inspiration to alter this Ann Taylor bag I got from a friend of mine:

Here is a look at the back of the bag:

The playful and vintage inspired paper from Rusty pickle is perfect to add some musical fun to this elegant bag.
Here is a peak to the original bag and some of the materials and tools I used:

I used the yellow paper frill I bought a while ago from this blog hop sponsor:  Scrap & Craft, direct link to this fun product here.

Dear scrapers,

This is Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion and
today is my day to post with Connie Can Crop.

I had bought some BoBunny Fall papers awhile ago and decided to finally use them to create a Pumpkin patch-minialbum for my children. I was inspired by this month's color challenge.

I used some goodies, I got from Connie's ebay store here: The flower, which I altered to fit more the fall theme colors and the eucalyptus distressing Stickles (Ranger). The sequins (CTMH) were also from the DT-kit.
Some Jute Ribbon, 3 Girl Jam from our DT-kit

I also used some of this month's wonderful sponsor's,

Scrap & Craft, products: The big metal brads and the metallic rub-on for distressing the flower.

And please don't forget this month's fun challenge!!

Connie Can Crop Challenge #38: Color Challenge

A new month is starting and a new challenge for Connie Can Crop DT.
This was a fun project and one that I kind of had started a while ago (2 years ago to be precised).
I took a class PhotoFull class from Tami Sanders @ former StampAntonio, our last scrapbooking store in town, and started to make this scrapbooking layout, but then decided to to finish it because the colors didn't go with my pictures at hand. Tami is now teaching at our closest to town scrapbooking store in New Braunfelds, TX: Scrapbook N' More
When I saw this month challenge, the colors reminded me so much of this halfway-going layout and decided to finally finish it. I remembered some pictures I took at my son's field trip last spring and though they went perfectly with the color scheme:

What do you think? perfect ;-)
