DT Seguras Crafts: Doctor’s Orders Sign

 

Dear scrappers,
I have great news: I started designing again for an amazing company: Seguras Crafts
The best way to describe this company is by their welcome message:
 “ Segura’s Crafts is built on inclusivity and choice. Our materials are inspired to support mindfulness and emotional growth. We also offer fun, creative supplies for those who simply love to craft. My goal is to provide tools that allow people to decide how they want to use them—whether for self-expression, mental wellness, or simply enjoying the art of crafting.”
I really love this message and hits close to home. I will be posting in the next few days several projects inspired in some of this company’s amazing products.

For my first project, I decided to make a new sign for my health office board.

I will be adding more to this board as I update it with Seguras’ incredible products. 
For my new sign, I used Seguras high quality cardstocks (I’m still working on the affiliated links, until then, I will just add direct links to the products that I use). I love the nice pearlescent shimmer the Crystal vision purple (I used it for the background) and the Anthracyte (to cut the letters). Too bad this pictures do not make this cardstocks justice. I also used the Radiant Heart Red cardstock for the red cross in my shaker tag. The cardstocks cut so nicely using my little Die-cutting machine.

For this tag, I also used the Seguras Crafts’ Rhinestones in Aurora Gleam (coming soon) and Opal Glow. I love how they shine so nicely on both sides.

We are also supposed to talk how the products inspired us, like for me the purple is a calming color, also significant during this lenten season, which means reflection and sacrifice, but with a purpose. I want my students to see this board to reflect, enjoy and be inspired.

CraftWell DT: Spring is Near Garland

 

Hi, 

This is my next post for Craftwell. For this post I decided to make some shaker butterflies for a spring-themed garlad to decorate my office for the spring:

Because this are a lot smaller than the Christmas shakers, I decided to attach some binder clips to the back:

This is the only one long enough for a cloth pin:

I can also use this shakers as bookmarks or tags. Super cool. I want to pair them with the flower shakers I made previously here to make my garland, but using cloth pins instead of paper clips.

CraftWell DT: Christmas Garland

Hi, 

This is my next post for Craftwell. For this post I decided to share the rest of shaker ornaments I made for the Christmas Bazaar and for my children teacher's gifts as tags:

For these ones, I decided to add a cloth pin to the back and make them a garland when I am not using them as tags:

As you can see, they work really well as a garland:

These ones had the little ornament attachment, which I reinforced with a second cut and was able to hang them:

CraftWell DT: Christmas Ornaments and Shakers

 

Hi, 

This is my Craftwell. For this post I decided to make shaker ornaments for a Christmas Bazaar and for my children teacher's gifts as tags:

Here are the finished ornaments displayed in a small tree for effect:

Here, I'm showing the ornaments as wall displays:

Before I added the shaker pieces following the kit's instructions, I added some hand fuzzy cut bronze paper pieces to ground the die cuts:

I made three of each kind and stamped them with different sentiments:

I used the leftover ornaments as tags for the teachers gifts. I stamped my children's names on the back and attached them to the gifts. They were perfect for this as they could be used as ornaments afterwards as well or as wall décor:
