Connie Can Crop: Monthly Challenge #55 Stamp Your Heart Out

A new challenge at Connie Can Crop:

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

It's the month of LOVE!
February!! Valentine's Day is upon us and we are sure to see lots of pink and red hearts everywhere this month!!

I thought we'd change it up a bit and give you something a little different for a February Challenge.

You may create anything you wish: a layout, card, altered item...you name it! Just be sure to use a Stamp. Digital stamps are fine too...just specify.

You can create anything you'd like as long as it has a stamp and be sure to mention you are linking to my challenge.
Please create one layout, card, or other project.
Your layout can be single page or double page. You may use any other products you wish.
When you are finished with your project please post it here in this thread.
New Rule!! You must become a follower of my blog to win!!
Please remember I will only count two entries per person. (Just to be fair!)

Entries are due by Tuesday, February 28th at 11:59 pm.

For this challenge, I decided to use some CTMH products first and tomorrow, I will show you my DT project using FSJ products:

I was taking a class by my friend Gloria and she did this card, but I decided to modified and use it for this challenge:

I did some 1st and 2nd generation stamping on the border instead of my friends only 1st generation stamping.
I also stamped in the same tone the heart, I added behind the "O" of the diecut work love.
(this heart is the negative of the heart outline, I used in the border)

Here a closeup:

for the inside, I did some more stamping:

This stamp set is a the CTMH January stamp of the month, to be found here at Connie's shop. The same with the papers, thin dies, and sequins.

I hope you enjoyed this fun and easy card.

Many blessings

Vicky Tovar

For my project, I decided to dust out my Fuse tool:

I made a shaker card with the fuse tool card base and some print out from the NitWit collection
Tailwags

I used some Creative Memories punches to cut out some HEXagons from the cardbase and added
cutouts from dogies printed from the NitWit collection:

I punched some printed buttons and the sentiment for my card:

My fusing skills are still very rough, but I did it ;-), sequins shaker pocket and all.

For the inside I cut out another sentiment from this fun collection:

I hope you enjoy it and decide to participate in this fun challenge.

Best weekend for you all

I am participating in the following challenges:
qkr stampede: challenge-211-cut-it-up : all the hexagons, buttons, sentiments

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
I decided to used our sponsor's SVG file: Mini rounded tote TEMPLATE/SVG to prepare for all the goody bags I will make for this thanksgiving:

This cute owl is missing its tag still, but hopefully that will my next step.
This file was so easy to cut, I did 10 of the owls and some of the landscape (for next PIO challenge ;-))

I used papers from CTMH (printed and cardstock) and from My Mind's Eye (embossed honey comb).
I dry embossed the brown card stock using Anna Griffing's cart for the eyes and another company for the wheat for the wings. I added fall ribbon leaves for an accents and gold sequins for the pupils.

I also embossed the goody bag handle using Anna's strip folder. The Doodle Pantry suggests that the back of the bag should be decorated, but I decided to be lacy and let it plain. Still cute, isn't it?

I hope you enjoyed this fun project and decided to Pile It On :-)

Many blessings
