DT CraftWell: Hello NYC, My Favorite Place Mini-Album

Hi,

This is my next post for Craftwell.

For this project, I used my last month SCT (Scrapbook and Cards Today Magazine) sampler kit. I love all the travel themed papers included and soft pastel color scheme as well as the included die cuts, with a touch of gold foil to make this summer project special:

I'm planning to put a little picture of us in the heart opening...

I specially love the taxis printed paper. It goes so well with NYC, even with the UBer trend.

I only needed to make the binding with my Krockadile and cut the corners of the paper with my Krumper (I think that is how it is called). For the binding, I made loops of green elastic cord and tied several coordinated ribbons to them:

For the title, I diecut the sentiment: "Hello" using two lovely colorful papers from the kit:

Working with kits from the same company makes it easier to combine papers, and embellishments without worrying about matching them.

Other Companies:

Dies: Hello part of the sampler, SCT July kit
SCT July kit printed papers, and die cuts
Double sided tape
Foam tape
3 Girl Jam Ribbons
unknown green elastic cord

I hope you enjoy it this fun project and please follow Craftwell as well.

DT Winter Wonderland: Reindeer

Dear Scrappers,

This is my August post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

There is no sponsor this month.

For this challenge, I used the Snowmen Selfie image from SheepSki forgetting that the theme of the challenge is "Reindeer".
Which I fixed by adding a reindeer die cut in the inside to match the "warm winter wishes" sentiment:

Here is a closer look to the reindeer:

I used cupper metallic cardstock.

I colored the printed digital image with distressing inks using a watercolor brush for a soft look.

I used the sketch:

From try stampin on tuesday current challenge. I die cut a fun scallop border and some tags to add the stamped sentiment from Taylor Expressions (TE).

Materials and tools:

unknown scallop and tags dies
Darisse Reindeer die
DCWV foiled Christmas paper pack
CTMH card
Amalgam ink, Gina K
HeroArts inks
TH Distress Inks
Watercolor brush, TE
red ribbon, unknown
3D dots

Closing date for entries is 5pm the day before the next challenge.

DT Craftwell: Christmas in July Ornaments, Tags, and Card

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my post for Craftwell:
For this post, I made some Christmas ornaments, tags, nd with a leftover cut, a card.
For the ornaments I used clear plastic ornaments from Michaels (the ones that open in the middle) and used some die cuts from the Anna Griffin "Christmas Sentiment die set" and some Chunky glitter.

I used some metallic cartstock (a lead color) and hotglued the die cut to one of the half of the ornament, added some glitter to it and closed the ornament, and hotglued some glitter ribbon around the seam.

For the shaker cards, I used the kit of the month (from a few years ago) from Sizzix. I used the glitter card stock included in the kit to cut the outlines and regular cardstock for the back. For the back of the star, I used another Sizzix die that I had. I complemented the look with die cuts using Spellbinder dies and glitter cardstock.

With the leftover AG Christmas sentiment diecuts, I made cards:

I used the Holiday card kit from CTMH, stamps and ink:

I cut all the die cuts with my SNAP.

More ornaments:

I hope you enjoyed my few projects and please make sure to visit Craftwell for more inspiration and to follow me.

Merry Christmas in July
