DT WW: Robin Redbreast- Happy Holidays Card

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my October post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

This month's sponsor is:

Their Epsy shop: SheepSkiDesigns

I chose the christmas-post-box-image for displaying the Redbreast Robin. Such a cute image.

This is a rather large image, so I decided to look for an sketch to make the most out of it and found this interesting sketch:

Sketch # 241

From sweet sketches challenge blog, see bellow for more info.

I used the matting die to cut the image and then used different distress inks and some HeroArts inks to color it. Then I traced the edges of the die cut unto a larger piece of printed blue cardstock to use as a mat. I fussy cut the blue mat and use the negative corners as part of the sketch embellishment.
I used foam squares to mount the die cut and some bakers twine to complete the look with this month's SCT Sampler sentiment die cut instead of the ribbon.

DT Winter Wonderland: Reindeer

Dear Scrappers,

This is my August post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

There is no sponsor this month.

For this challenge, I used the Snowmen Selfie image from SheepSki forgetting that the theme of the challenge is "Reindeer".
Which I fixed by adding a reindeer die cut in the inside to match the "warm winter wishes" sentiment:

Here is a closer look to the reindeer:

I used cupper metallic cardstock.

I colored the printed digital image with distressing inks using a watercolor brush for a soft look.

I used the sketch:

From try stampin on tuesday current challenge. I die cut a fun scallop border and some tags to add the stamped sentiment from Taylor Expressions (TE).

Materials and tools:

unknown scallop and tags dies
Darisse Reindeer die
DCWV foiled Christmas paper pack
CTMH card
Amalgam ink, Gina K
HeroArts inks
TH Distress Inks
Watercolor brush, TE
red ribbon, unknown
3D dots

DT Winter Wonderland: Merriest Christmas

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my June post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

This month's sponsor is:

I chose the Winter Chickadee for my card following this month challenge "Flying High at Christmas"

I colored the printed digital image with distressing inks using a watercolor brush for a soft look. Then I die cut a circular tag using the CTMH die, and distressed the edges using a gold ink. After it dried, I added some enamel dots to showcase the red fruits and snow flakes. For the rest of the fruit, I used red glitter paste after coloring them with red ink.

I attached the tag to a big red bow using gold twisty tie.

And cut the three different printed papers to assemble the card inspired in the sketch and attached my tag using foam tape and 3D dots for the bow.

Finally, I cut the sentiment I wanted from the Christmas washi tape and added it to the right bottom part of the card.

I really like the red and green color combination and the 3D feel of this card.

Materials and tools:

DCWV foiled Christmas paper pack
CTMH card
CTMH tag die
Amalgam ink, Gina K
HeroArts inks
TH Distress Inks
Celestial Cooper Tsukineko ink
Watercolor brush, TE
Red Glitter paste, TE
Christmas sentiment washi tape, TE or SCT Crop and Create delivered
Gun Drops, YNS
Enamel Dots, TE

3D dots
