Eureka Stamps Challenge #180 Feathers & Fur

Eureka Stamps Challenge theme this week is

For my card this week I used 24002 Gorilla with Hearts and for the Inside  24001 Gorillya Valentine:

I created this card for my son for St. Valentine's day. I used some watercolor pencils and a blending pen to color my gorilla. This is my first more successful time using this technique. I used a 6x6 paper pack from Latina Crafter.

I still needed some bling, but I could't find in my stash some red or pink Dazzles, so I used so silver ones and colored with this alcohol marker.

Here is a closer look at the finished image with accent hearts.

For the inside, I used some picked raspberry (TH) distress inked sentiment and added some shimmer using a pink metallic pen.

I was inspired by the TE Share the Joy challenge sketch:
and adapted it for my the Eureka stamps digital image.

For the color combination, I was inspired by this month's Latina Crafter's twist:

I am also entering this challenge at Left of Center Creative Challenges:

I hope you enjoy this card and leave some comments.
Have a wonderful week,

Vicky

For this blog hop, I decided to used the second tag I had for the Eureka Stamp challenge of this week: Recycle it.

This is the original tag on the right:
the back:

The already altered tag:
 lifting the organza fabric:
The back using the digital images from Eureka stamps:   25401 Happy Birthday Vertical

I used a small scallop circle cut from a scrap of the already printed  8603(543) Flower Background on white card stock from a previous project:

I used the alcohol markers to alter the circle, some white pilot pen for the balloons and to define the letters of my vertical sentiment.
The balloons were leftovers from a old sticker package.
I distressed the back of the tag also using TH distressing ink:

I hope you enjoy this project and this fun hop honing our friend Angela.

Eureka Stamps Challenge: 179, Recycle it

Eureka Stamp has a new Challenge, which theme this week is:

Recycle It - use something on
your card that has already been used before

For this fun challenge, I decided to use some cute garment prize tag, which I have been accumulating lately and up-cycle them into bookmarks or gift tags:

digital stamp used: 8603(543) Flower Background
digital stamp used: 8804(528) Spring Has Sprung
I chose these images, because here in Texas it really feels as if the spring has already sprung ;-)

This the original tag:
For this project I used the left one. What I did with the right one I will show you In Angela's birthday bloghop coming on February 11:

The back of the tags:

I left the tag as it was and added my printed digital stamps to the front and back of it. Leaving a border around to appreciate the gorgeous original prize tag.
I cut the printed images using a neat tool from recollection.
I, then, distressed the images and colored it using wink of stella in red, my new alcohol markers, and some Viva Decor glass effect gel in yellow.
A closer look to my finish tag:

This project was nice and simplistic. I love recycling neat objects, I have been collecting for a while, such as packages, prize tags, metallic covers, and plastic containers. So, I was super excited to used them.
I hope you enjoy my project and leave me your opinion.

Mon Ami Gabby (at the Scrapbook Expo).

Here is my take to this fun challenge:

I made this 15 year anniversary box for my husband for our anniversary using the:

I used some light gold glitter paper from my stash, some recollection cream paper, and some CTMH colonial white cardstock. I embellished the box using wedding and gold alpha stickers (color box, probably). the glitter round stickers with the pearl in the center are from recollection as well.
I bought this cute glittery and soft ribbon at Scrap N' More (in New Braunfelds) and the flower is from Mom Ami Gabby (at the Scrapbook Expo).

This box was super easy to cut using my Cricut Explorer and I even was able to score it.

I hope you enjoy this fun challenge and leave me some love ;-)

Have a wonderful week,

Vicky

Eureka Stamps Challenge #178 - Add Some Sparkle

We have a new Challenge at Eureka Stamp this week:

Add Some Sparkle

For my take, I decided to use a card, which I was making as part of my friend, Gloria, workshop from CTMH. I saw that card she had planned and remembered this Eureka stamp: Cascading hearts, which is perfect for this cascading heart card. Thus, I just replaced the stamped images, with die cuts from the stamped cascading hearts image.

 Opened

Then, I colored the image with some wink of Stella marker, some ruby glass effect-, and glitter gel- pen from Viva Colors to add some sparkle to the card.
I did use the CTMH stamped sentiment, as well as the white glitter paper die cut (CTMH).
Some more views of this fun card:

I hope you decide to participate in this fun challenge and give me you opinion here as well:

I am entering my card in the following challenges:

Design Team: Burping Cloths Cake

Hi,
It's Veronica from Vicky's Scrapping Passion  sharing with you a fun project I did for one of my children's teachers, who just became a Grandma for the first time:

I decided to make a diaper cake inspired by one of our dear bloghoping friends: Hollie, but then got convinced otherwise ;-)

I collaborated in this project with my dear friend, Andrea (Stitched by Andrea). She is nuts about embroidering and sewing, and helped me making this super cute burping cloths:

She did, besides convincing me on the burping cloths, do a fantastic job.

I made the cake topper using the Disney-Pooh Font set cart, and made did card as well using my Cricut Explorer. I even did some writing with it ;-) (so proud of myself)...

2- I used Viva Color amber glass effect pen.
3- I cut the name and distressed the letters
4- I distressed the bear a little bit using PowerPuff Amaretto chalk.

I used  Connie's shop  cabochon and button:

I attached a my gift card to the back and hanged it using 3 Girls Jam ribbon.

I wanted to add some "honey' to the honey jar (card) and I wish I had cut some more using my cricut, but I didn't have any extras. Thus, I used some splash images (also from Connie's shop) and inked it first with glitter alcohol markers (5+6), and them using some more amber Glass effect pen to mimic my cricut cut honey...
Papers are from many different manufacturers.

I hope you enjoy this project as much as we did,
Have a wonderful weekend,

Don't forget to check out Connie's monthly Challenge!
