I used some Graphic 45 papers, black, orange, lighter orange and eggshell cardstock from CTMH, printed black CTMH paper, and some glittery Recollection terracota paper for the title.
I stamped  the title and sentiment using some old Halloween CTMH stamps and archival ink. I added some orange Stickles to the title and sentiment to make them shine some more:

Here a closer look to the sentiment: Bugs and Hisses:

You can see here how much dimension this 3d card has...

Guest Designer @ Scrapping4funChallenges

Dear scrappers,

I was honored to be asked to guest design for Scrapping4funChallenges  blogspot.
The challenge is:
Challenge #86 - Recycling / Old Stash

Thus, I decided to get my accumulated old stash for St. Patrick's day and make some home decor:

I recycled some packaging to make the tag, and my stash from a few years of accumulation from Graphic 45, some Paper Source hand made paper I bought in Boston last year, some old burlap cardstock from previous projects, leftover metal slider for the hat, glitter ribbon so old... ,  glitter paste from BoBunny and stencils, some liquid metallic turquoise ink, 3 D gluedots, Dollar tree stickers, and glitter flowers with the 4 leaves clover. The wooden plate is from Target.

Here are some close-up pictures:

I will post an SnapGuide soon with details about how I made this mixed media homedecor piece. Please check back this post again to find the link here.
I hope you decide to join this challenge and enjoy the other very talented designers projects too.

Happy Easter Frame

Happy Easter

Dear scrappers,

I was saving this project for today. I was a class that I thought two weeks ago:

I made it from a TH kit with the clear acrylic tiles and decided to use the the Sweet Sentiments paper from Graphic 45 and other embellishments to decorate it:

I painted the unfinished frame with vanilla ice cream and pearl acrylic paint and added some roses stenciling with a TH stencil with the Art Anthology sorbet dimensional paint and diluted it with vanilla acrylic paint and heated to get the dimensional effect:

I diluted to much the color and couldn't get a nice contrast, thus I added some green patina antiquing cream from DecoArt to the rest of the frame, this kind of teal color has a nice shimmer to it:

Then, I added the paper pieces following TH kit's instructions.

Some closer looks at the finished frame, I added more texture using some fun fabrics and flowers from Mom Ami Gabby:

I added some stamping and die cut from Heartfelt creations and heat embossed it before adding some coloring using Wink of Stella brushes.

As well some Easter foil washi tape (little B):

I also added some metal crosses I bought a a local catholic store, some laser cut self-adhesive ribbon:

And some CTMH buttons:

And some rhinestones fish:

I am really happy with the final results and hope you do too.
Happy Easter

He is risen

I would like to submit my frame to the following challenges, which inspired me:

More pictures of my project, which was one of the gifts I sent my secret sister, Connie:

The metal sentiment tag from Ide-Ologie (TH) and tons of alcohol ink distressing:

More TH metal tags, with this fun ribbon (leaf):

The Creative Embellishment wooden letters also distressed:

The background was created on upcycled metallic cartoon packing, alcohol ink, and an stencil also from TH:

I also used the Bears, reindeer, and leaves ribbon, Graphic 45 Christmas Emporium papers, Ide-Ology embellishments.
I entered this project to:
Graphic 45 Christmas facebook page for the December Challenge.

I was inspired by the red hues and the metallic accents, and of course the warm and fussy feeling.

Well, I hope you enjoyed this project and decide to enter our fun challenge.

Happy New Year
