For this blog hop, I got inspired by the warmer spring air here in Texas and by these two stamp sets from PWP: evening-primrose and the wildflowers-cling-stamp-set sentiment:

Some materials and instructions:

1-I used an oversized wooden tag and covered with an used Stay-wet painting palette paper, which was stained with many acrylic colors.

2- I cut a flower to make shaker flower using a Queen & Co. shaker flower-die-set.

Then, I added some translucent and gold big glitter and colored the outside of the flower with pink glitter marker:

3- I stamped the my flower using Hero Arts black ink:

at this moment I wasn't sure which of the flowers I wanted to used, but I got inspired by this picture and decided on the evening primrose because the colors coordinate so well with my painting pallet paper and shaker-die cut:

4- I die cut some other wild-flowers shapes using the left-over of the Stay-wet paper:

5- I used some vine stencils from Anna Griffin and TH distress paints to add more to the colored background:

6- I colored a Creative Embellishments vine die cut and the stamped flower with markers and mermaid paint brushes from Jane Davenport:

7-  I stamped the sentiment with black HeroArts ink and embossed it with CTMH embossing powder on a handmade cardstock.

It gives an interesting effect because this paper absorbs the wax from the embossing powder giving the letters a metallic shimmer, but not the 3D effect.

and I added a green metallic marker frame around the cardstock:

8- I attached some twine and a Moroccan bead to add some interest to the tag.

9- Finally, I cut a flower arrangement that came with the handmade cardstock in three and added it to the tag:

I hope you enjoyed this fun spring tag/ wall hanging:

I'm the last stop in this fun blog hop.

  11. BEAUTIFUL TAG!!! The look is veeeery bright & hopeful with color!
I really love the idea of a different kind of 'ending' w the Morraccan bead tied up above... it lends a bit of '60s "peace" look that calls out to my 'inner hippie' still in love with bursts of color!
