For this blog hop, I decided to make a layout for my son's first camp out with his dad at the Morris Ranch with his Trail Life troop. They are my two woodland critters...
The left size:
The right side:
This was a fun day with camp fire stories, told by Mrs. Morris himself (the one with the cowboy hat), rosary, bows & arrows, and bb guns... An old boy experience.
I used and did:
DCWV: Stardust Stack Paper Pad
CTMH sticker elements and alphas. These dies, which I can't from where I got them...
DecoFoil glue pen and Fancy Foils transfer sheets.
Some Studio Calico wood pieces, I got from PWP
I wanted the foiled effect of the papers, thus, I added some foil to the CTMH stickers and alphas, and to the veneer pieces.
I also used some upcycled tags, from Cold Water Creek, and just stained them with Distress paint:
I cut the arrows, tepee, the sentiment and the swirly stars/sun out of foiled border paper, using my brand new Snap machine, from CraftWell:
I love the effect of the negative cut on this border and might use it for a later project...
I glued added pictures using this sketch from stickitdown.blogspot.com:
Here some details:
I decided to add the tag as a hanging element and used a cloth safety pin to attach it to the page:
I added some journaling to the back of the tag:
I hope you enjoyed this scrapbooking page as much as I did.
