Design Team Connie CC: Just Plain Cute

 Hello,
I am sharing with you another double layout I created with an SVG-file from our awesome sponsor this month, Paper Crafting World for Connie Can Crop:

I used the  Cat Sitting and ready SVG file from our sponsor, old school related papers and frames from the Artbooking cart from CTMH, you can find similar papers and this cart at Connie's webpage.

Here are some extra pictures:

Left side:

Right side:
The frames, which I only glue down on 2 sides and did pop-up with 3D dots:
I added some stickers for the little tags and the journaling spot from this collection's elements:

I used this same file in my previous card for the bloghop, but cut much smaller:

And don't forget to enter this month's challenge:

For this blog hop, I used the  Cat Sitting and ready SVG file from our sponsor this month. Old school related papers from CTMH, as well as glitter trim from CTMH, you can find at Connie's webpage.

I didn't have the right size scallop frame die, so I used a border scallop die.

I used 1 canvas element for sentiment also from CTMH. I pop-up the whole cricut svg cut and added some accents with my white gel pen.

I left the inside without any sentiment to keep the theme from open and ready to get one stamped when the occasions rise to it.
I hope you like it.

For this challenge, I decided to use the Dr. Seuss svg cut from PCW and do a layout about the world of discovery through books:

You can't see the part of the title that well: "in a book" to complete my title: Discover Together a world of wonder in a book"

A closeup of the cat with hat, my favorite Dr. Seuss character:

I backed up the mats momentarily with white cardstock to be replaced with a picture later on:

I used papers from an old CTMH collection, the mats are from either Quick Quotes or CM. The title stickers and the mat files are from the artbooking cart from CTMH as well.

I hope you enjoyed this easy to put together layout and decide to join in this fun monthly challenge.

Scrappy Hugs

Connie Can Crop: Golden Arrow Award 2nd part

Hi happy Scrappers,
Last Thursday was my DT day for Connie Can Crop, thus I shared that day the 2nd part of the 2 page layout I just finish making for my son's
pictures from when he got his first Golden Award.

Here is a picture of both sides:

A closer look to the trophy:

To the ribbon:

To the apple with a supposed bite:

Again, here I used 2 already discontinued CTMH paper packs. I used my cricut explorer to cut this fun svg file and added some cuts for the background from the CTMH Artbooking cart. The font is from the Disney's Mickey Mouse Fonts. I used my cricut to write my son's name on the award and his initial on the ribbon medal.
I used Some CTMH ink markers to add depth to the trophy and an alcohol marker from Ranger to add more color to the lettering on my son's name.

I used parts of the QT Patootie Boy Sitting w Award CF file from this month challenge sponsor, to cut the trophy, the Apple, and the award ribbon. Those files are very easy to use and cut.

I hope you enjoy this project and visit me to see further pictures by Saturday this week.

Want a chance to win!! Enter the monthly challenge at Connie Can Crop!! There is still time.

For this bloghop, mostly about princesses, I decided to make a mini album for my daughter from her last Singing Princesses birthday party from her friend Angela.

I used a DCWV paper pack, Once Upon a Time, a paper crafting world cutting file (crown), and some distressing cardstocks from Ranger. I added some vintage velvet glitter to some parts, a Prima Flower, some flowers cut from the file, and some prima rhinstones. I found the Rapunzel images on the internet and just printed them in my color ink printer.

I really enjoyed making this project and made a google+ album for each page: https://plus.google.com/u/0/113294990274191982467/posts

Connie Can Crop: Monthly Challenge #44 Anything Goes

Hi dear scrappy friends,

It's the first of the month and time for a new challenge over at Connie's blog:

She has a WONDERFUL sponsor this month!!

For this challenge, I decided to use their QT Patootie Boy Sitting with Award CF
because it reminded me so much of my son:

My son just got his second Golden Arrow Award at his school and reminded me that I haven't scrapbooked his first one from this year's first quarter.

I changed the file a little bit to fit his uniform and even cut a piece of one of my daughter's hair ribbon to make my son's necktie.

I used 2 already discounted CTMH paper packs. I used my cricut explorer to cut this fun svg file and added some cuts for the background from the CTMH Artbooking cart. The font is from the Disney's Mickey Mouse Fonts.
The #1 is one of the CTMH dimensional elements. I used some faber castle pastel pencils to highlight some parts of the boy die cut.

This was a fairly quick project and was easy to cut as well.

I hope you enjoy it and participate in this month's challenge.
