For this blog hop, I decided to make another page for my ongoing album,
please check this links for the other pages: monthly-challenge-61, CCC3 challenge and each year.
Here is the 2 pages together with a transparency in-between:
Here the supplies, I used and the steps:
1.- Water color the image from PND:
Mermaid Ellie in Clam Shell and cut strips of specialty paper included in a monthly kit from Hero Stamps:
2- color the waves from the specialty paper with a liquid ink, which has a nice shimmer to it
3- add the paper strips to the background and add some bubbles to the watercolored-image using the Nuvo Chrystal drops, also included in the monthly kit from Hero Stamps:
a closer look to the bubbles:
4- Add some dimension with glitter paste and stencils from BoBunny:
5- Add the image to the finished background. I also cut some photo mats out of mesh and I made one out of the step 2-prepared wave papers. and add some die cuts and some sequins:
I stamped: The world is your Oyster, you are the Pearl.
For the transparency:
1- add sponge some waves using Fluessiges Edelmettal from Viva and a Hero Stamps stencyl:
2- some dimension
3- the title: Como Peces en el Agua (like fish in water):
4- adding some finishing touches with enamel accents: fish-eyes, whole in the letters to make them more readable:
finished transparency
I left some space in the middle for a picture:
