Eureka Stamps Challenge #193 Stitching Real or Faux

Eureka Stamps' Challenge the theme this week is:

Stitching Real or Faux

For this challenge, I got inspired by one of our previous week's contestant: Kathy.
She used an sketch by Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!! blog, which is perfect for my little scallop square that I had ready for an idea to strike:
The sketch:

My little square at that moment:

I used the 31203 Garden Square image from Eureka stamps and fussy colored with Stabilos markers. These are very fine tip markers and I had bought some for my children to use in their coloring books. I also bought a set for me as well and decided to use them on this very small printed image.

My final card:

The sentiment is also from Eureka stamps. The inside:

For this card I used some bazzil cardstock, some CTMH and some october Afternoon dollies printed paper which came on a kit, I bought long time ago at CKC:

I thought about this kit because is focused on adding texture and came with embroidery floss and some fabrics.
I added some flowers with embroidery floss to the sentiment too:

 Some close-ups from the card:
The rose comes from a Swirly Doos scrapbooking and mixed media kit and it is from Blue Fern Studios:
The ribbon is from the CKC kit.

I hope you enjoy this fun and actually quick card, and decide to enter our challenge. My first time really sewing on a card...

Have a wonderful week

For this bloghop, I decided to make an special card for my friend's son, who is a foxy smarty pans:

I used Mr. Foxy digital file from our sponsor and fussy cut around it after coloring it with some alcohol markers.  I added a graduation sticker to it and tata here is a graduation card. I backset it with some Typeset papers and canvas elements from CTMH.

I stamped a sentiment to a canvas element using archival ink (all from CTMH) and added it to inside of my card:

My stamping wasn't perfect, but I quite happy with the shadow effect i got.:

To highlight the from canvas element against the similar color background, I used some micron marker outlining:

I hope you enjoyed this fun and quite easy card.

Here's our line up in case you get lost.

Eureka Stamps Challenge #192 April Showers Bring May Flowers

The challenge theme this week at Eureka Stamps is

April Showers Bring May Flowers

For this challenge, I decided to make a kind of unusual Mother's day card for my Mom. Even though, she lives in the same town, we get too busy and don't see each other as much as when they were living with us.

I used my new trifold card die from Sizzix:

Card, Triple Square Flip-its, the Brushed paper pack, CTMH, some alcohol markers and the printed digital images from Eureka stamps: 21201 Butterfly and Bluebonnet

& 36303 Spring Set of 4 . I added some blings from Queen & Co.

The sentiment is also from Eureka stamps, I just cut it using the little square die from the set to separate it in 3.
The other sentiment is one of the border-strips from this paper pack B&T.

I hope you enjoy this project and decide to join this challenge.

Best scrappy wishes for you

Vicky

Design Team: Way to go Graduation Card

Hi Scrappers,

This is post for Connie Can Crop show my latest creation for Connie's Dads & Grads challenge:

For this card, I used I used our sponsor's, Polka Doodles, digital image:

GRADUATION DAY - TWIGGY & TOOTS - DIGITAL STAMP CRAFT

But I made some changes to it, by a 3-D sticker of the diploma fussy cutting around the ribbon.

For the inside sentiment, I used  the free Blessings file, printed it on my laser printer and heat-foil it with blue.

I found the front to simple, so I added a CTMH Typeset complement canvas sticker to give it some charm.

I highlighted with a Wink of Stella marker some parts of the hat, the eye shadow and eyelashes.

I hope you enjoy my simple card and decide to join this month's challenge:

Part 2: Father's day Tags and Creative Embellishments Design Team Call

Dear scrappers

This is the follow up of my previous post:
The tags. I would love to be part of the Creative Embellishment team, thus I wanted to showcase how I can alter their shipboards. I used their gears chipboard for my tags dangles:

For the dangle on the bookmarks, I used Creative Embellishments chipboard gears and double heat embossed them:
First with CTMH silver embossing powder

Then with vintage photo (rust effect) TH, Ranger embossing powder:

It was kind of difficult to get a good picture of the silver rusted gears

I wanted to explain better this technique, thus I decided to post it separated from the previous post.

I hope you enjoy it

Vicky

For this challenge, I decided to create a new type of card for me: Double pocket card, because I wanted to participate in the Between the Folds challenge and wanted to make a card for my Father for Father's day including bookmarks:

I used Polka Doodles digital image: HANDYMAN DAVE DIGITAL STAMP DOWNLOAD
I used some CTMH masculine paperback. retired a while ago. And This Father's day stamp for my stamped sentiment.
For the dangle on the bookmarks, I used Creative Embellishments chipboard wears and double heat embossed them. For the details, please see my following post.

The front of the tags: I used two freebie sentiments from Polka Doodles, and foil them using my laminating machine:

The back of the tags. the handy man again, and a sticker:

A closer look to the foil-sentiments:

I hope you enjoyed this cards as much as I did.
Have a wonderful week

Design Team: As sweet as Honey

Hello, this is my DT-project for Connie Can Crop,

Wow, I can't believe that it's been a week already since I posted this project at Connie's blog:

For this post, I decided to use a card base from this months sponsor: The Cutting Cafe,  Card Fold w/curved sides, some CTMH, Brushed printed cardstocks, and some dazzles from my stash. I paper-pieced cardstock bellow the dazzles to add som color:

Here a pick of the inside:

I decided to color the cardstocks bellow the dazzles instead of paper piecing them. I hope you enjoy this simple card and leave me some love ;-)

And don't forget to enter this month's challenge:
