WW DT: Let it snow -Christmas Card

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my October post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

For this month's challenge, sadly, we don't have a sponsor.

I used an sketch from jingle belles rock: merry-sketch-mas and chose the I chose the Winter Chickadee digital image for my card from :

I found some inspiration in the challenges bellow for my choice of papers and used a negative ornament cut (Sizzix and Hero Arts) from a previous project.
I decided to make a shaker using page protector as transparency and foam tape:

I didn't have read pearls, so I decided to complete the look by coloring the ones I had with permanent marker.

I stamped the inside of a CTMH white card with a Christmas sentiment using Candy Apple distress ink. I cut a piece of embossed cardstock to fit the outside of the card (it had Santa's image, so I liked it for this look) and some peppermint stripped printed paper for the center strip.

I colored the Chickadee image and finished the shaker using some pearls and other Christmas fillers for the inside. I mounted all pieces together and used double side tape to add to the card.

I assembled the card using the sketch as a simple guide using double side tape, and added the colored pearls as final touch:

DT CraftWell: Shaker Flower Paperclip Bookmarks

Hi,

This is my next post for Craftwell.

For this project, I used The Fancy Flowers Kit (Queen & CO). I followed the kit's instructions for color combinations and assembly instructions after using my SNAP for die cutting the pieces.

First, I wanted to make a bunch of flowers to revamp my Whooo's Making the Right Choice? Poster Board:

But then I decided to make them bookmarks by adding jumbo paperclips to their back:

I like this option so much better as it highlights the shaker parts of the flowers. I might use as little gifts for my children teachers soon.

I could still use a few to put in my poster board by attaching them to thumbtacks. This shaker kit is so much fun to play as all the other Queen & CO kits.

Craftwell Tools

SNAP die cut machine

Other Companies:

Foam tape
Glossy Accents glue
Hot glue gun for adding the paperclips.

I hope you enjoy it this fun project and please follow Craftwell as well.

WW DT: Meowy Christmas Card

Dear Scrappers,

This is my August post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

The sponsor this month is:

I chose the meowy christmas digital image for this challenge, which is super cute.

I used my Tattered Lace tag die to cut the printed image and turned it around to cut the other side as well:

I used a nice Tattered Lace printed cardstock that I had from the magazines, which coordinated well with the wintered themed image. I used a CTMH card kit and picked a nice background with similar colors to the TL printed paper. I then, fussy cute the sentiment from a second printed digital image, outlining the words with a metallic gel pen:

I colored the digital image with more gel pens and used 3D foam squares to assemble the sentiment tag and the colored image to the background paper.

I used the sketch:

Materials and tools:

Tattered Lace tags dies
Tattered Lace printed background paper
CTMH card kit
Metallic and assorted gel pens
