WW DT: End of Year Anything Christmas Goes Challenge

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my October post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

Our sponsor for the challenge is the wonderful:

Facebook Group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/145707866223056/
and the prize on offer for the winner is two images of their choice from the shop

I chose the

Christmas Baubles, Digi Stamps, which is very celebratory of the end of the year.

I went looking for sketches to work with this image and found this one:

This challenge is a collaboration between two blogs, and I used the sketch and combined two different printed papers from the Tattered Lace magazine freebies, one is the stripped paper and the second I used mats for the digital image, with stripped stars in the same colors (yellow and dark red).

However, I did not make to post in time, so I was suggested to join the next challenge:

I guess my baubles are colorful enough and the card in general is mostly white.

For the digital image, I decided to use metallic red and gold pens, and when coloring with a red pen, it smeared a little bit.

Then, I used distress inks as watercolor media and the unexpected happened and the red/ gold ink smeared worse... so I worked around it and decided to with the mage a bluish background to blend my mistake some:

At least the inside of my card work out better

From sweet sketches challenge blog, see bellow for more info.

I used the matting die to cut the image and then used different distress inks and some HeroArts inks to color it. Then I traced the edges of the die cut unto a larger piece of printed blue cardstock to use as a mat. I fussy cut the blue mat and use the negative corners as part of the sketch embellishment.
I used foam squares to mount the die cut and some bakers twine to complete the look with this month's SCT Sampler sentiment die cut instead of the ribbon.

Craftwell DT: Fall Festival Goodies

Hi,

This is my next post for Craftwell.

Every year my daughter's troop host a fall festival at the pumpkin patch, so I searched Pinterest and came up with several ideas for dressing up fall goodies:

Reese candy holders:

These pumpkin (orange flavored) gummies were my favorite:

I die-cut several tags and stamped them with fall sentiments, the same with the acorns, sunflowers, and pumpkins. I used all the different shaped pumpkin dies I had as well as the sunflowers and acorns.

The instructions for the Ferrero Rocher containers, I found them in Pinterest and followed them.

 Dear Scrappers,

This is my October post for Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog:

This month's sponsor is:

Their Epsy shop: SheepSkiDesigns

I chose the christmas-post-box-image for displaying the Redbreast Robin. Such a cute image.

This is a rather large image, so I decided to look for an sketch to make the most out of it and found this interesting sketch:

CraftWell DT: Fall Themed Shaker Bookmarks and Clips

Hi,

This is my next post for Craftwell.

For this project, I used The Autumn Splendor Kit (Queen & CO). I followed the kit's instructions for color combinations and assembly instructions after using my SNAP for die cutting the pieces. I made two sets of the scarecrow, pumpkin, and chocolate dipped apple shakers.

One set I converted them in corner bookmarks:

For making the shaker parts, I followed closely the instructions within the kit, but used other companies printed and solid color papers:

Here are the final shakers:

I used the AUTUMN OUTLINE DIES to back up the shakers and make the second set refrigerator magnets. Here displayed with only the cloth pin without the magnet strip yet:

For the moment, I'm displaying the future magnets in my Whooo's Making the Right Choice? Poster Board:

For making the corner bookmarks, here are the detailed Instructions. The only change I made was to cut the smaller squares at 2.5 in x 2.5 in to fit better in the bookmark.
