CraftWell DT: The Atonement Gala- Scrapbooking Layout

Dear Scrappers,

This my  post for CraftWell:

For this month's post, I made an scrapbooking layout to feature my children's school Gala:

The theme for the Gala was the Great Gatsby and predominant colors were black and gold. Thus, I decided to use this DCWVStardust Stack Paper with tons of black and gold foil, and some CTMH vellum with feathers and gold polka dots. I couldn't find my gold alpha stickers, thus I just spelled the title using the negative cuts from the sentiment die cuts. I'm still missing the word Gala, which I will add later with the stickers... ;-)

Some close ups to highlight the die cuts I made using my SNAP:

In short:

1- I used my SNAP to cut some die cuts from some Teresa Collins dies for sentiments, tags, and picture frame, CraftWell, and HeroArts, for the retro frame, which I cut in pieces:

2- I used an Sketch from "Let's scrap sketches: sketch-3-15-19":

3- I assembled the pictures and die cuts following the sketch. The swirls and stars die cuts, help finishing the look of the sketch:

4- I still miss some journaling and of course to finish my title.

The back:

In short:
I cut 2 of the previously half laminated papers using the Sizzix die cuts for the top sentiment die. Then, I just cut one of the bookmarks with the inside die (hearts). I added a strip of clear page protector to the inside of the hearts using double sided tape.
I partially connected both bookmarks, adding some foam 3D squares and double side tape.I added some clear sequins(?) from HeroArts and attached both bookmarks together:

There is enough room for the sequins to move around:

Later, I will put the bookmark inside of another cut to size page protector and will fusse it using the Fusse for extra durability and rough handling.

I hope you enjoyed and follow my future posts.

Be sure to hop over to Miranda

Here's our line up in case you get lost along the way.

DT-St. Valentine Goodies

Dear scrappers,

This my  post for CraftWell:
We are back and ready to entertain you with new ideas and our favorite tricks.
For this month's post I made the goodie bags for my children' teachers and aids.

I used some Sizzix dies for the bookmarks and die cut several combinations using the SNAP machine:

I added a bookmark to each of the goodie bags:

In total I made 60 goodie bags, which was made a breeze by using the SNAP.

Steps:

1. I laminated one side of different printed cardstock from CTMH.

Here you can see one side is glossy (laminated) and the other is mate, ideal for stamping with regular inks:

2. I was able to die cut the bookmarks in my car during my lunch breaks by using the SNAP, which can be recharged and the battery is super long lasting:

The SNAP made the die cutting of the laminated cardstock a breeze. The only drawback was that the one side only lamination makes the bookmark curl a little, Which can be corrected by putting the bookmark inside heavy books ;-)

3. Then, I stamped the back of the bookmarks using stamps from CTMH and inks from FSJ:

I also stamped my children names (CTMH, personalized stamp)

I also stamped plain dollar store goodie bags:

I hope you enjoyed this very simple and super easy to make gift for the teachers and visit my blog for further ideas:
