TRICK OR TREAT!!

For this blog hop, I created another box card using the svg file from this month's sponsor: halloween-paperscape-box-cards-svg-bundle

I used some Graphic 45 papers, black, orange, lighter orange and eggshell cardstock from CTMH, printed black CTMH paper, and some glittery Recollection terracota paper for the title.
I stamped  the title and sentiment using some old Halloween CTMH stamps and archival ink. I added some orange Stickles to the title and sentiment to make them shine some more:

Here a closer look to the sentiment: Bugs and Hisses:

You can see here how much dimension this 3d card has...

I hope you enjoy  my second box card and

Guest Design Post: S4funChallenges blog - Challenge #101 - Autumn Colours

Dear scrappers,

I am guest designing at www.scrapping4funchallenges.blogspot.com.

Their theme this time is

Challenge 101 - Autumn Colours

For this GD, I made a card, which I used for a card swap over at Connie Can Crop:

The good thing about the colors  I used is that they are good for both Halloween and Fall. Don't you think?

Sideways:

For the inside:

I used some Color box chalk to distress the sentiment and stamped some CTMH Halloween stamps with archival ink.

I used some Stamping Up inks to distress the die cuts from Sizzix:

and to stamp the trees for the background using a PWP stamp:

I used some printed CTMH cardstock to add some interest to the borders of this stepping card:

Then after stamping some moons using CTMH Halloween stamps, I punched them out and added some bats from a glitter Recollection tape. Finally, I added some embellishments from my stash and voila I made 10 cards...

I hope you enjoyed this card and visit www.scrapping4funchallenges.blogspot.com.

Many blessings

Vicky Tovar

DT Post: Day of the Dead Altar/ House

Dear Scrappers,

This is my post for Paper Wings Productions: Day of Dead altar/ house I made to teach my crafty friends.

I used Paper Wings Productions:

I also used:
White cardstock
Neon colors cardstocks
Glitter cardstock
Crafty Chica day of dead printed cardstock
Liquid Glass
Distress Inks: antique linen, Ranger
Many little findings
Gesso, Hero Stamps liquid ink in Teal
Tissue paper
Mod Podge
Metal dies: Sizzix Crafty Chica dies
Michael's house
Cut n' Boss

Here some closeups:

For this project, I tinted the gesso with the liquid teal ink and roughly painted the walls and outside of the house:

Then, I modpodge some tissue papers on the outside walls of the house to resemble stucco.

I cut several pieces of glitter paper and neon papers with the metal dies using my Cut n' Boss and Crafty Chica dies.

I stamped the banners on a crafty material I found at Hobby Lobby and cut then out:

I glued the banner pieces using fabric pressure tape to thick twine:

And added to the house using the CTMH pins:

Choose the pieces of printed cardstock for the walls:

I made a small table out of tread spool and round piece of wood:

I glued a dolly die cut to it and decorated a piece of plastic (found at the doll houses department at Hobby LObby) resembling a candle:

Finally after many other steps I decorated the house with the many findings to resemble a Mexican Day of the Dead altar telling a forever love story.
I added a tea light decorated with paper behind the banner I made:

I hope you enjoyed my little altar and visit The Aviary, Paper wings Productions' blog

Have wonderful and blessed day,

Vicky Tovar

For my project, I used some of the natural-mixed-media-kit and the fall-nesting-components-mixed-media-kit, featuring the owl-panel-clear-stamp-set:

while is hanging:

A closer look at my background:

I recycled the top of hat box and glued the edges with heavy gel:

I added some rob-on paste to the edges and randomly around the circle:

This are some of the supplies I used:

I ended up using a different lace trim for the center instead of this beautiful velvet rickrack from the kit:

This nesting kits are such a blast to play with. I love all the cool supplies included and the samples on the PPWP Gallery.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
For this challenge, I used an svg file from this month's sponsor: halloween-paperscape-box-cards-svg-bundle

I used some of my stash glitter orange paper, other papers, some  iridescent green embossing glitter and black archival ink (Ranger), and CTMH stamps.

I added a electrical tea light and does the trick to lightup the box card.

A better exposition:

Some other views:

I used a thicker cardstock for the main frame of the box card.

A better view of the embossed sentiment and I added some orange liquid glitter (ranger).

Here you can see how much dimension I was able to get with this card.

This file has several optional layers, here I used some of the bats and the pumpkins to give a more dimension by using glitter paper for the bat upper layer and a different hue of black for the pumpkins...

I hope you enjoyed this very easy to assemble and decorate Halloween decoration...

Many blessings,

Happy October,
