For this blog hop, I decided to make another page for my ongoing album,
please check this links for the other pages: monthly-challenge-61CCC3 challenge and each year.

Here is the 2 pages together with a transparency in-between:

Here the supplies, I used and the steps:

1.- Water color the image from PND: Mermaid Ellie in Clam Shell and cut strips of specialty paper included in a monthly kit from Hero Stamps:

2- color the waves from the specialty paper with a liquid ink, which has a nice shimmer to it

3- add the paper strips to the background and add some bubbles to the watercolored-image using the Nuvo Chrystal drops, also included in the monthly kit from Hero Stamps:

a closer look to the bubbles:

4- Add some dimension with glitter paste  and stencils from BoBunny:

5- Add the image to the finished background. I also cut some photo mats out of mesh and I made one out of the step 2-prepared wave papers. and add some die cuts and some sequins:

I stamped: The world is your Oyster, you are the Pearl.

For the transparency:
1- add sponge some waves using Fluessiges Edelmettal from Viva and a Hero Stamps stencyl:

2- some dimension

3- the title: Como Peces en el Agua (like fish in water):

4- adding some finishing touches with enamel accents: fish-eyes, whole in the letters to make them more readable:
finished transparency
I left some space in the middle for a picture:

the back:

The front against the other page:

I hope you enjoy my mini-tutorial and on-going pages for this Galveston trip mini-album.

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

My take on this challenge is actually part of an on-going not-so-mini-album, I have working on since 3 years.
I made this album as part of a CCC3 challenge and each year, I add more pages to it. I like to experiment different techniques on each page, here I did watercoloring on the mermaid image (from Paper Nest Doll, nautical-mermaid-avery) with pearl watercolors:

Steps:

1. add glitter paste to the splahes cutouts from Connie Crafty Cart:

2. Punch out sand-dollars and add sand texture paste:

3. Use these 2 liquid inks to add some teal to the background using a Hero Arts waves stencil:

And to the speciallty paper.

Close-ups:

It is difficult to capture the pearlescence color of these watercolors.
I used a flower die to cut the rock out of a leftover paper from:
this layout,

I added some sequins here and there to make pretend bubbles:

And some alge diecuts from speciallty paper included in this set.

ups I flipped this image:

The sand-dollar ins partially glued to add the picture bellow.

I tried to add layers and texture using the waves from the speciallty paper.

Supplies:

And
liquid glass (CTMH), Bazzil paper, Hero Stamps/die set, sequins, and much more.

Thank you for checking in and I appreciate your feedback and following.
Many blessings
Vicky
