Design Team Connie CC: Just Plain Cute

 Hello,
I am sharing with you another double layout I created with an SVG-file from our awesome sponsor this month, Paper Crafting World for Connie Can Crop:

I used the  Cat Sitting and ready SVG file from our sponsor, old school related papers and frames from the Artbooking cart from CTMH, you can find similar papers and this cart at Connie's webpage.

Here are some extra pictures:

Left side:

Right side:
The frames, which I only glue down on 2 sides and did pop-up with 3D dots:
I added some stickers for the little tags and the journaling spot from this collection's elements:

I used this same file in my previous card for the bloghop, but cut much smaller:

And don't forget to enter this month's challenge:

Design Team: PIO #117 - Autumn colors

Dear scrappers,

The Theme these next 2 weeks is: Autumn Colors

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

Sponsor: Doodle Pantry

""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
I decided to used our sponsor's SVG file: Mini rounded tote TEMPLATE/SVG to prepare for all the goody bags I will make for this thanksgiving:

This cute owl is missing its tag still, but hopefully that will my next step.
This file was so easy to cut, I did 10 of the owls and some of the landscape (for next PIO challenge ;-))

I used papers from CTMH (printed and cardstock) and from My Mind's Eye (embossed honey comb).
I dry embossed the brown card stock using Anna Griffing's cart for the eyes and another company for the wheat for the wings. I added fall ribbon leaves for an accents and gold sequins for the pupils.

I also embossed the goody bag handle using Anna's strip folder. The Doodle Pantry suggests that the back of the bag should be decorated, but I decided to be lacy and let it plain. Still cute, isn't it?

I hope you enjoyed this fun project and decided to Pile It On :-)

Many blessings

For this blog hop, I used the  Cat Sitting and ready SVG file from our sponsor this month. Old school related papers from CTMH, as well as glitter trim from CTMH, you can find at Connie's webpage.

I didn't have the right size scallop frame die, so I used a border scallop die.

I used 1 canvas element for sentiment also from CTMH. I pop-up the whole cricut svg cut and added some accents with my white gel pen.

I left the inside without any sentiment to keep the theme from open and ready to get one stamped when the occasions rise to it.
I hope you like it.

Design Team: PIO#116 (Recycle)

Dear scrappers,

This is my first post as a designer for Pile It On Challenge Blog.

The Theme these next 2 weeks is: Recycle

Thus, I decided to use some corrugated material packaging and die cut it using an scallop square die.

I used recycled corrugated packing material as mat for the image as well as reused leftover foil green and gold sheets using a glue stick and randomly apply the foil...

For the sentiment, I used a DecoFoil foam sticker sheet to diecut the sentiment, foil it in green and gold (using an used foil sheet), and then matted it in colonial white cardstock. I added then some clear glitter to the sentiment's negative space.

I colored the Dr. Digi's stamp with alcohol markers and some Wink of Stella.
For the inside, I used a complement sticker from this long retired CTMH workshop on the go kit.

"""""We're sponsored by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and one lucky participant (chosen from challenges #115 & #116will receive a 2 digi stamps of their choice! The Top Picks for this challenge will be posted on September 11, and the Prize Winner will be announced on September 25.

Welcome to the brilliantly bizarre brain of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps.  Here you will find monsters, aliens, odd balls and Dundertons as well as many many more wonderful digital stamps. Our artist and founder cut his teeth in the craft world at the company "Just  Inklined", where his unique digis made a huge impression. We're hoping to continue to entertain and amuse, with our growing catalogue of great value digis with a sense of humour." """"""

I hope you enjoyed this kind of different card and decide to join us in this recycling challenge.

Have a scrappy Labor day weekend,

""""""""""""""""""""""""
For this challenge, I decided to use the Dr. Seuss svg cut from PCW and do a layout about the world of discovery through books:

You can't see the part of the title that well: "in a book" to complete my title: Discover Together a world of wonder in a book"

A closeup of the cat with hat, my favorite Dr. Seuss character:

I backed up the mats momentarily with white cardstock to be replaced with a picture later on:

I used papers from an old CTMH collection, the mats are from either Quick Quotes or CM. The title stickers and the mat files are from the artbooking cart from CTMH as well.

I hope you enjoyed this easy to put together layout and decide to join in this fun monthly challenge.

Scrappy Hugs

Vicky
