Time to Celebrate LO using the "You & Me" CTMH kit

Dear Scrapper,
Happy Easter to you all. I hope you had a great day yesterday and are ready to star the week with a hop...
I am with my family on vacation, but thanks to modern technology and my iPad I can still be in contact with you and publish some of my saved work.
I did this LO a few months ago, but was waiting to finish it. I know, procrastination, my biggest downfall ;-)
I finally attached the final pictures and added my journal about an event that happened almost three years ago...
Here it is. I used an sketch from Tami Sanders and her class: PhotoFull at StampAntonio. I love this sketch because it allows me to add so many pictures and i am regretting not to be in her class this week's class.
I used an old CTMH kit "You & Me" and some stamps. I used some dimensional elements with distressing ink included in the kit as well as some pearls. I did some creative stamping in my journaling block and was able to write plenty and still have a cute LO.
This LO has three varying sizes flaps and room for pictures. I displayed this LO on my chimney mantel for the last days of my parents stay to remind them that they are coming back soon and we should not be sad, but we should celebrate the nice memories of their arrival.
I hope you enjoy it and give me some feedback...

Small Thanksgiving Tags/Bookmarks for my kids' teachers

Dear scrappers,
I made these tags for my kids' teachers two years ago and was meaning to post them in my blog since them, but you know how it goes...
I used my cricut cake, my gypsy, the CTMH Art Philosophy Cart, and some CTMH B&T and cardstock. I cut all pieces and paper pieced them (acorns and tags). I stamped the leaves with their matching stamps from CTMH. The acorns, the thank you (gracias) words, and the leaves were spritzed with gold angel mist and left to dry. After they dried out, I put the cards together and added some peach ribbon that I had. In the back, I stamped "Happy Thanksgiving" and wrote my kids names. A very easy and cute project for some quick thanks.
If you are interested in the gypsy file, please send me a note and I will be more than happy to share them ;-)
Have a very blessed Good Friday

Joy Paper Bag Mini Album-- thought at Michaels

Dear scrappers,
I am trying to update my blog and include all my previous work besides my current creations.
This mini album made out of 4 brown paper lunch bags, I did as a sample for a class that I was teaching at Michaels. I know that I stop working there since almost a year, so it should be ok to post it know. I used only their basic instructions for making the album, but the paper combination and embellishment were my own creativity.

I don't have the details of the materials used because I did is album using left over from other projects from the class room. If I am not mistaken the stickers were from K Company, but I am not sure anymore. Those were very nice sticker in 3D almost similar to papier toles...
I was able to put 3 small tag in the small pockets made out of the bag bindings and either 4 or 8 large ones in the pockets made out of the bags themselves.
It was a very fun and easy project to do. I hope it serves as importation and if you like the project and want to learn the details, I am sure any of the Michaels current teachers could accommodate a class for you or you could find the instructions online.
Enjoy it :-)

Teresa Collins' Now and Them using a PhotoFull Sketch by Tami Sanders

I haven't posted any scrapbooking LO lately, mainly because I haven't used any of my own sketches :-(. I have been taking Tami Sanders' PhotoFull classes at Stamp Antonio: for more information about her and her great classes, please visit her website and mention me: http://tamisanders.com/
I love her classes and sketches because they allow me to use my own stash without worrying too much about how to arrange my pictures. As a former SDU teacher, I know how to do the sketches designs myself, but let's face it. It is so much easier to scrap lift a great sketch and transform it into my own creation :-). I love challenges, and see those classes as one.
This double LO is based on her latest and wanted to take on a challenge of using Teresa Collings kits. I used her lovely Now and Them kit acquired at the my Craft Channel website. I had a great time with both the sketch and Teresa's paper and embellishments. I loved my first time using her kits and will do it again soon. I loved the result and decided to show it to my dear scrappers. Check it out:
LO with the flip in the middle:

First side of flip open:

The second side:

The back of the flip:

And the LO without the flip protector:

So versatile, like having 4 different LOs in one...
Please join me to take Charlotte's Money Saving Sketches and Tami's PhotoFull classes at Stamp Antonio http://www.stampantonio.com/Index.html and please let me know what you think ;-)

Baby Boy Shower Favors

Dear Scrappers,
I made these baby shower favors for a friend, who was having a boy.
I used my stash of CTMH cardstock, some retired B&T, my cricut cartridges: George & Basic Shapes and Wall Decor. I printed some small cards with my friend's details and used them as sentiments.
I bought some organza bags from Michaels and filled them with pastel M&Ms (available around Easter, lucky me ;-). I finished the look with some baby feet charms and blue&brown ribbon.
My friends could use the tags as bookmarks and remember this day...
I like to make useful favors, thus, tags are a great choice :-)

2011 Teachers' Valentines

Dear scrappers,
I did these boxes for my kids teachers last year. I used some bassil card stock, some colonial white CTMH card stock, and other valentine papers that I had from Paper Wishes, Story Tellers, btw others. I used the valentine's CTMH 2011 stamp of the month, and my cricut cartridges: New Testament, CTMH Art Phylosophy, Wall Decoration, and Tie the Knot. I had fun playing with red velvet paper from Paper Wishes and made some hearts.
I was inspired by Paper Wishes designs and a similar take out box displaying a life tree and red hearts.
I hope you get inspired as well. I know, I should be showing St. Patrick's days projects, but I am ashamed to recognize that I don't have any yet ;-)
Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day

H2H Challenge - Go Green - March Entry # 1 and kids' teachers valentines

H2H is having a "go green" challenge, which could be interpreted as creating a green project or in my case recycling something old and giving it a new purpose. Last Valentine's day I took old Folgers containers (which I found cute and saved them) and used some elemental papers from CTMH, some cute heart  ornaments from Hobby Lobby, the Whooo's your Valentine and Monogram CTMH stamp sets, and the Art philosophy cricket cartridge to decorate them as multipurpose containers.
I also bought some Target clear plastic frames with post-it pads decorated similarly to go with the containers and completed the desk set with a decorated pen.
This is my first time participating in an H2H challenge and even though I am a CTMH consultant, I am my only client ;-)
I hope you like it
