Mini-Album for a Friend's B-D

The journaling spots serve as pockets fro the gift cards and I left them blank so that she can add her toughs later ;-)

Here we all took a piece of stamped note paper and wrote my friend our wishes for her B-D and stocked them in the two pockets...

I did this mini-album as a gift to place some gift-cards for a friend B-D. I used the Triple Play Kit from CTMH and loved it. I took the pictures in her actual B-d, and we gave her the gift a day later...

Rocky Mountains' trip last year

Hi fellow scrappers,
I did his dLO (double layout) to remember our trip to Colorado last year. We took around 600 picks during that trip, no way I will scrapbook all of them. My favorites will end up in a 6x6 mini-album and I might do one more page with some enlarged photos.
I used papers and stikcers from two different CTMH kits

I got creative with the stickers and combined several brands (CTMH and Paper work)

and combined with some of a Paper Work kit embellishments

My Son's Third Year B-Day

I did this Lo of my son 3er year B-day for an hour  challenge from Club CK "using diagonal lines". I had too much fun doing it. I really enjoy participating in challenges because it makes me to try new and fun things/techniques.

My son's party was all about Mickey Mouse and the Club House. I used papers from a monthly kit from Paper Works and some die cuts from Keller's Creation (Tag and Mickey's Ears). I printed all pictures as a one 8X10 photo collage print from Walgreen.

We even did the goody bags following the same Mickey M. theme...

Some more best LOs

I forgot to include this best double LO that I did for our meetup group Sketch challenge:

I was not completely happy with the shipboard letter, so i modified them using the great chalks from Quit Quotes. The rest are bazzil papers for the BG and K-Company die cuts. Everything came up nicely together by chalking the edges with the same color (Mango Mai Tai PowderPuff Chalking Ink).

My Best Work so far...

Hi everybody,
This a late post today, and it has the main purpose of applying for a position, which I am dying to get.

It is difficult to choose only four projects to showcase in this application, but here is my best shot:
1. This was a third place contest winner for a Creating Keepsakes Convention:

It was some early work, done with supplies from a monthly club...

These are some keepsakes that I did for the first communion of a friend of mine daughter:

I used a sample provide from a fellow CTMH consultant, and modified to fit the theme. The stamps are not CTMH though... but they still look great ;-)

It this double LO for a Sketch Challenge contest that I host in out San Antonio Scrapbooking Meetup group:
I did the title with some stickers from K-Company and my cricut. The sketch was taken from the Image book by Jeanette R. Lynton and it is called Safe & Secure. I just loved it...
And finally, I bought a wall hanging kit from Keller creating at one of the CK Conventions and did a wall hanging for my son. For my Daughter, I just bought the supplies and created the kit myself based on the boys wall hanging and really loved the results. I used my cricut to cut some of the circles and the letters for the title:

Last Year Father's Day LO

Hi scrappers,

I did this LO with a CTMH kit )will post the name later) and gave it to my husband as a gift. He just loved it...

Welcome to my blog

I finally decided to start my own blog to share my passion for scrapbooking and paper crafting. I want to demonstrate that it is possible to have a family, a hobby/part-time job, and school at the same time. We just need to get organized and use any 15 minutes time-spots we got. During those 15 minutes you can either organize pictures, upload them to be printed, choose papers and supplies, and build kits for on-the go cropping...
Here are some of my latest projects:
The mini-book that I did for a cricut class that I am teaching.

This project was so quick and easy to do- everything was cut with the little bug ;-)

Every day I will be adding all my previous and new work. i hope you enjoy it and make suggestions please.

Please check up our meetup page at http://www.meetup.com/SAscrapbooking/
I am the organizer of this fun group in San Antonio, TX for meeting to crop together, teach fun classes, share the local scrapping news, learn new techniques, and share scrapping bargains.
