Eureka Stamps Challenge #193 Stitching Real or Faux

Eureka StampsChallenge the theme this week is:

Stitching Real or Faux

For this challenge, I got inspired by one of our previous week's contestant: Kathy.
She used an sketch by Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2!!! blog, which is perfect for my little scallop square that I had ready for an idea to strike:
The sketch:

My little square at that moment:

I used the 31203 Garden Square image from Eureka stamps and fussy colored with Stabilos markers. These are very fine tip markers and I had bought some for my children to use in their coloring books. I also bought a set for me as well and decided to use them on this very small printed image.

My final card:

The sentiment is also from Eureka stamps. The inside:

For this card I used some bazzil cardstock, some CTMH and some october Afternoon dollies printed paper which came on a kit, I bought long time ago at CKC:

I thought about this kit because is focused on adding texture and came with embroidery floss and some fabrics.
I added some flowers with embroidery floss to the sentiment too:

 Some close-ups from the card:
The rose comes from a Swirly Doos scrapbooking and mixed media kit and it is from Blue Fern Studios:
The ribbon is from the CKC kit.

I hope you enjoy this fun and actually quick card, and decide to enter our challenge. My first time really sewing on a card...

Have a wonderful week
